Memory Bridge: The Foundation for Alzheimer’s and Cultural Memory
Memory Bridge creates programs that connect people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias to family, friends, and other people in their local community. Their programs reveal to the general public the depths of memory that dementia does not erase. Their goal is to create a global community of people who, like us, are learning to listen to people with dementia for what they have to teach us about our own humanity.

The National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners®
The NCCDP was formed to promote standards of excellence in dementia education to professionals and other caregivers who provide services to dementia clients. The goal of the Council is to develop and encourage comprehensive standards of excellence in the profession and delivery of dementia care.

The Assisted Living Federation of America is a national association exclusively dedicated to companies operating professionally managed senior communities in assisted living. Lorton, VA assisted living housing operators along with other providers nationwide, including NJ, FL, and OH become part of ALFA's member-driven programs to promote business and operational excellence through national conferences, research, publications, and executive networks.

The Administration on Aging (AoA), an agency in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, provides home- and community-based care for older persons and their caregivers. Their mission is to develop a comprehensive, coordinated and cost-effective system of long-term care that helps elderly individuals to maintain their dignity in their homes and communities and to help society prepare for an aging population. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) administers Medicare, the nation's largest health insurance program, which covers nearly 40 million Americans. Medicare is a Health Insurance Program for people 65 years of age and older, some disabled people under 65 years of age, and people with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure treated with dialysis or a transplant).

National Association of Geriatric Education Centers (NAGEC)
The mission of NAGEC is to provide an organization to support the national network of Geriatric Education Centers (GECs) dedicated to improving the education/training, supply, distribution and quality of health care professionals through strong community-academic partnerships; ultimately to improve the quality of health care for all elderly individuals, including the underserved and minorities.

National Council on Aging (NCOA)
The NCOA is a nonprofit organization with a national network of more than 14,000 organizations and leaders. Their members include senior centers, area agencies on aging, adult day service centers, faith-based service organizations, employment services, consumer groups, and senior housing facilities including assisted living.
